Family Campground in Willington Connecticut

In 1975, Irene and George Hasapes arrived from Chicago to Moosemeadow Camping Resort. They believed that it was a good place to create a family oriented campground with wholesome activities for children and adults. Irene and George also felt it would be a good place to raise their four children – Nikki, Georgianna, Christienna and Jason. Later, three grandchildren, Tyler, Spencer and Jordan, expanded the “Moosemeadow family.”

Over the past forty years the entire family has contributed their individual talents towards making Moosemeadow Camping Resort the family oriented campground that Irene and George had envisioned.
